This policy explains what personal data Kansofy Inc. collects through kansofy.com, how we use it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have over it.

When you submit your email through the "grow with us" form, we collect:
We use this to contact you about BLOOM availability and product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing us.
When you request access to the research thesis via the access form, we collect:
We use this to grant access to the thesis PDF, to watermark each copy with your name and email for attribution, and to understand how the research is being read. The watermark is part of each PDF you view or download.
When you chat with Clover, we collect:
We use this to run the service, prevent abuse (30 messages per day per user), and analyze what readers want to understand about the thesis. We do not tie chat content to your identity. Your questions are sent to Anthropic PBC (the Claude API provider) to generate responses; Anthropic's API terms apply to that processing, and on paid API tiers your content is not used to train their models.
Your browser stores your Clover chat conversation in localStorage so it persists across page reloads. This data never leaves your browser unless you send a new message. You can clear it at any time using the reset button in the chat panel.
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use kansofy.com (which pages are viewed, how long, from which general region). Analytics cookies are only set if you accept via the consent banner shown on your first visit. If you reject, no analytics cookies are set and no GA data is collected from your session.
When enabled, GA4 collects:
We do not use Google Ads, advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or any cross-site tracking. We do not build individual profiles of our visitors. Google Analytics data is subject to Google's privacy policy.

All data is processed on Cloudflare infrastructure (Workers, D1 database, R2 object storage, primarily in the Western Europe region). Cloudflare maintains SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and other compliance programs. The thesis PDF is stored in Cloudflare R2 and served through a Worker that adds per-user watermarks on each request.
Chat messages are transmitted to Anthropic PBC's API (United States) for response generation. Anthropic's privacy policy governs that processing: anthropic.com/legal/privacy.

For EEA/UK residents (GDPR), California residents (CCPA/CPRA), and residents of jurisdictions with comparable laws, these rights are enforceable. Email [email protected] with your request and we will respond within 30 days.
Kansofy services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
We use standard security practices: TLS for all traffic, secrets stored in Cloudflare's encrypted secret store, signed tokens for thesis access, IP-based rate limiting, and input validation on all form submissions. No system is perfect; we do not guarantee absolute security, but we apply reasonable safeguards proportional to the data we handle.
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be posted visibly on our site.
